Usawa Agenda will tomorrow, Wednesday April 24, launch the 2024 secondary schools survey report at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD)’s Simba Auditorium.

The survey report, aimed to establish the factors that contribute to inequalities within the education system, was conducted between July and August 2023 across all the 47 counties in Kenya. It is used as a platform for engagement with diverse actors to bring about the transformation of education systems.

Through a media invite, Usawa Agenda said the report is now ready for release to the general public under the title ‘Secondary Schools Survey 2024’.

The launch will be attended by the Basic Education Principal Secretary (PS) Dr Belio Kipsang, teachers unions and a number of legislators.

Usawa Agenda is a civil society organization registered with the mission of promoting systems change in education justice for all through research, innovation and evidence-based stakeholder engagement. It is working to transform education systems and policies in Kenya and beyond.

Last year, the organization released a report on ‘Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment’ christened FLANA Report, which answered the question of whether children are learning in school.
