Parents body condemns sodomy in secondary schools

Sharing is caring!

Kenya National Parents Association (KNPA) Chairman Nicholas Maiyo (pictured) has condemned rising cases of sodomy in secondary schools.
He said it is against the law and African traditions and should be condemned in the strongest terms possible.
“It’s sad our children are being exposed to such heinous acts and no one seems to bother. As parents we condemn such acts,” he said in Eldoret town recently.
He warned institutions against giving too much power to student leaders to discipline colleagues since it is against the law. He asked the management of schools to retain the mandate of taking care of children and not give it to prefects.
