Basic Education Principal Secretary Dr Belio Kipsang’ has commended KCSE 2024 examination officials for what he called a wonderful work in administering the exams.
The PS, speaking in Dagoretti Sub-county on Thursday during distribution of KCSE exam papers, said the 2024 examination was successful and the officials have worked according to set standards.
“Thank you for the good work you have done; across the country our team has done very well, we are satisfied this year we have run a good race,” the PS said.

Dr Kipsang’ said the The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is now entering a crucial stage of marking the exams and the examiners must keep the same spirit, expressing optimism that the council is ready for the next stage and results will be out on time.
“From Monday a number of you will be examiners; we want to believe that you will not drop the ball,” he said.
The examination that kicked off on October 22, 2024 concludes on tomorrow. A total of 965,501 candidates registered for the exam in 10,754 centres countrywide, compared to the 903,264 last year.
