Kitelakapel Technical Training Institute triumphed over all other training colleges in drama and football to book a place in the regional contest.
Speaking during the championship, the area Member of Parliament Samuel Moroto thanked the college for establishing a balance between co-curricular activities and academics.
He thanked the college fraternity led by the Principal Sammy Cheruiyot Chirchir for sound academic programmes that have attracted over 700 students from all over the republic.

He asserted that the economy of the area had tremendously improved and said that he was indeed proud of the progress that has been so far made.
The college which is in Riwo Ward has over 39 lecturers and is offering ten different courses including Agriculture, Social Work, Secretarial Studies, ICT, Electrical Engineering, Building and Construction, Fashion and Design among other courses.
On his side, the area Member of the County Assembly David Alukulem outlined some of the plans to inprovwe the institution such as additional computers, provision of clean water, buying of school bus which the Member of Parliament promised to ensure they are fulfilled.
