West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin recently toured and inspected projects in the county that are aimed at making lives of all residents easy and enjoyable.
Speaking during the assessment of workmanship of the Education offices, Makutano stadium, Pkopoch-Kitelakapel water project, the newly constructed governor’s offices, the ministry of health’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) And the Computed Tomography (CT scan) projects, the governor insisted that the long journeys that have always been made to other neighbouring counties will come to an instant halt as all those complex services will be offered in West Pokot.
He insisted that West Pokot will soon have an upgraded stadium where matches and sporting events will be held comfortably ranging from school contests, community and even national events.

Kachapin added that one of the top-most priorities in his legacy is education and as such he has established ultra-modern uducation offices in which all educational concerns will be addressed therein.
He explained that Computed Tomography which is medically referred to as CT scan that involves a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to produce images of the inside nature of the body would give detailed images of any part of the body including muscles, fat, bones, organs and blood vessels.
Additional information was that the other Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine was a Non-Invasive medical imaging test that produces very detailed images of every internal structure. It uses large magnets and radio waves to create images.
