Uasin Gishu KUPPET demands for transfer of Principal over alleged witchcraft

The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Uasin Gishu County branch has demanded for the transfer of University of Eldoret High School, Simon Simiyu over witchcraft allegations.

In a letter to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) dated March 21, 2024, the union’s county executive secretary Elijah Kimeli Maiyo, refers to another letter wrote to the Commission on March 20, 2024 requesting for the investigation into the alleged presence of a witch doctor in the school compound.

The executive secretary also added that the alleged principal went overboard by threatening staff in a meeting held on March 21, 2024 at the school to wipe out eight teachers.

The Kuppet county executive secretary is therefore asking the TSC to take action against the school head failure to which they will lead a team covered by divine powers and blood of Jesus to wipe the school principal out of the school compound once and for all.

The union executive further cautioned the teachers against interacting with the school principal and should pray without ceasing to compel the witchcraft spirit.

“Psalm 140: Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet,” reads part of the letter.
