TSC transfers secondary school Principals in Nyandarua

Several secondary schools have been affected by transfer of Principals in Nyandarua County by Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Nyandarua County Director of Teachers Service Commission David Mwaniki said the Principal of Kurungu Secondary School has retired and the Deputy Principal of that school is acting as Principal.

The Director said Nyakiambi Girls High Principal has been transferred to head a school outside Nyandarua and Munyaka Secondary School Principal has been moved to Nyeri in the same capacity.

He added that Kamunyaka Secondary School Principal has been moved to a school in Nakuru while Kaimbaga Secondary Principal has been transferred to take reins at a school in Laikipia.

Mwaniki said Weru Secondary Principal has retired.

He asked Principals to improve the standards of education saying, “We encourage all school heads to perform their duties professionally and ensure students characters are shaped positively and standards of education improved in all schools within Nyandarua,” said Mwaniki.

He added that the Commission congratulates all schools which performed well during 2024 KCSE and encouraged the schools which did not perform well to work very hard to improve their academic performance.

The TSC County Director also said teachers should know that they play a very important role in shaping academic life of thousands of children and they deserve praise for the good work they are performing in  in Nyandarua.

“As teachers, we should be aware that we should sacrifice ourselves to perform our duties well in order to help our children to get quality education,” said Mwaniki.

He was speaking in his office in Olkalou town in Nyandarua adding that the TSC will continue to support all teachers in the county.
