Twenty three secondary school Principals in Murang’a in Central have been reshuffled.
The reshuffle effected by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is aimed at streamlining the management of the schools and installation of discipline to the learners.
The affected schools are Njumbi, Nyagatugu, Ngurwe ini, Kiarathe, Rwathia Girls, Gititu Wahundura among others.
In the reshuffle the head at Njumbi Boys Fredrick Murage heads to Othaya Boys replacing Edward Waititu who moves to Nyagatugu in Kangema, Muranga’.
Attached is the list of transfered teachers in Murang’a County.

Kanjuri High Principal in Karatina, Nyeri County Paul Chira Gachoka replaces Murage at Njumbi Boys.
Ngurwe ini Secondary Principal in Kandara, Peter Mwangi heads to Gititu Secondary Ithanga taking over from John Kimemia. He will be replaced by Muiruri Simon Wanyoike from Kamirithu secondary in Limuru.
At Ngurwe Secondary, the new Principal is Peter Muiruri from Kamirithu Secondary in Kiambu County.

Leonard Maingi, Kiamuruga Secondary in Kirinyaga Principal moves to Mugoiri Day Secondary while Rwathia Girls new Principal is Lucy Muriithi taking over from Fresia Wangui.
Irungu Wangui of Gatuanyaga Mixed in Thika East moves to Ikundu Secondary in Muranga South.
Murang’a County Director of Education Annie Kiilu orders the handing over to be effected in the scheduled dates.
“The handing over in the affected schools will be held between December 31 and January 6, 2025 supervised by the sub county directors,” said Kiilu.
Also, Principal of Kanjuku Secondary John Gakuya located in Gatundu North Sub-county moves to Mihang’o Secondary.
