TSC advertises 46,000 vacant positions for teachers

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised 46,000 vacancies for qualified teachers on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service.

The commission will employ 6,000 teachers for Primary Schools, 39,550 posts for Junior Schools and 450 for Secondary Schools.

It indicated that the minimum requirement for Primary School applicants is being a holder of a P1 certificate while for Junior and Secondary Schools is having a diploma in education.

The applicants must also be registered teachers with the TSC.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates.

Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Filling of two or more Application for Employment Forms will lead to disqualification.

Manual applications will not be considered and serving interns are required to apply in their current Counties/Sub-Counties/Work stations.

Serving interns will only be required to present their identity cards during the verification process.

Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications through the TSC website www.tsc.go.ke under ‘Careers’ or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke not later than October 7, 2024, at midnight.
