Technical University of Mombasa shines at National Diversity and Inclusion Awards, clinches multiple honours

Technical University of Mombasa won several awards at the National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition (DIAR) 7th Edition Gala Night, held at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi County, Kenya.

The institution was recognized in the DIAR Award category for Best Public University on Equitable Allocation of Opportunities and Resources-1st Runners-Up, Best Public University on Ethnic Representation -1st Runners-Up and Best Public University on Gender Representation-1st Runners-Up.

The awards were based on internal and external research and reviews of the latest publicly available reports, including the Status of Compliance of the Public Service with Values and Principles in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution by the Public Service Commission. Other constitutional provisions and legislations were factored in.
