The teaching fraternity in Teso sub-county has organized a fun day event for teachers to relax and bond this coming  Saturday, August 24, at St. Joseph’s Kocholia High School.

The event, initiated by area Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Commissioners Timon Oyucho and Dr. Nicodemus Ojuma Anyang, is intended to be a relaxation avenue where teachers will participate in team building exercises, networking with teachers from other regions, physical fitness and exchanging ideas.

The event’s Patron, Dr. Anyang, noted that the area will be hosting the fun day for the first time, adding that it will go a long way in nurturing talents that abound in the larger Teso region.

Dr. Anyang revealed that they had already received partial sponsorship from Equity Bank and encouraged all teachers in the region to turn up and attend the historic event.

A team of teachers from Teso earlier attended and participated in a similar function in Seme, Kisumu county in April this year.

The Seme team is similarly expected to attend the event in Teso.

Two other TSC Commissioners, Christine  Kahindi and Sharon Kisire are also expected to grace the function.
