A middle-aged secondary school teacher from Ziwa in Eldoret, Usain Gishu County, has been arrested for allegedly beating a 14-year-old child.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the little boy’s herd of sheep wandered onto the teacher’s land.
According to reports, the teacher allegedly assaulted the youngster, causing him to bleed. Neighbours stepped in to stop the abuse and rescue the youngster.

Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi confirmed the arrest and said that the victim was promptly transported to Ziwa Sub-County Hospital for medical treatment.
As part of the inquiry, a P3 form, which documents injuries in assault situations, has been completed.
“We received a report of an assault, and our officers responded quickly,” Commander Mwanthi explained.
“The youngster was treated, and the culprit is in custody. He was scheduled to appear in court in Eldoret yesterday to face the relevant charges.
Mwanthi underlined the significance of peaceful dispute resolution and asked locals to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
