Students of little known Kipsienan Mixed in Nakuru beat odds to shine in KCSE

Little known Kipsienan Mixed Day Secondary School, Soin ward in Rongai Constituency of Nakuru County posted impressive “historic” KCSE results for 2024 that has seen four out of 60 record university entry mark.

Cosmas Kiptallam and Victor Karanja both registered B- and Beatrice Ole Sunkuli and Vincent Kiprop recorded C+ each in a school started 14 years ago that had witnessed struggle sending one student each year with C+ grade.

Speaking at the school Assembly, Principal Laurette Sila, PTA chair and BoM, George Lagat who is the founder member of the school, teachers and learners were jubilant.

Students numbering 300 promised to excel with Form 4 students pledging to improve on the mark and sent more to the university

The celebration comes moments after Education cabinet secretary Julius Migos released the results.
