Students have been called upon to work hard in their studies so that in future they can be respectable persons in the villages and beyond having the capacity to give back to the community.

Imploring upon the students to direct all their energy and focus on education Matungu Sub County Director of Education (SCDE), Josephine Nasambu Walela, reminded the learners that the community would be looking upon them for development.

She told the students to respect all those placed above then and even themselves in order to excel not only in education but also in life.

“We are all here today because of you. Respect your teachers, parents, old members in the community, the church and even yourselves so that you can have a smooth ride in your life,” she told the students.

The SCDE made the remarks at Mabolo CCA Comprehensive School in Matungu Sub-county in Kakamega during the commissioning of Grade 9 classroom constructed courtesy of Kenya Primary Education Equity in Learning (KPEEL) through the Ministry of Education.
