Students in day secondary schools in Kandara benefit from KSh39 million bursary

Kandara MP Chege Njuguna disburses KSh39 million to needy learners.

It is a relief to day school learners in Kandara, Murang’a after NG CDF bursary kitty disbursed KSh39 million to facilitate their education.

On Wednesday, Kandara MP Chege Njuguna launched the disbursement programme when he distributed cheques to learners in Mugecha and Muruka secondary schools.

Chege announced that each of the learners in Kandara who applied for the support will benefit with KSh3,000.

Chege said all those who applied for the bursary  have been considered.

“Kandara Bursary Committee in the most transparent and accountable manner resolved to allocate each KSh3,000, to ensure they have the best education,” said the legislator.

He explained that he will personally visit the schools in the constituencies to hand over the cheques.

“Due to my passion to improve education standards in Kandara, I will personally deliver the cheques to the schools. This will also help in understanding the needs of each institution for consideration,” said Chege.
