Harriet Myles Awuor, a student at Moi Girls High School Eldoret, tragically passed away yesterday, February 25, at 1 am. Harriet had been ill for some time before her condition worsened, eliciting an outpouring of grief from many.
“Towards the end of Form Three, she started experiencing health issues and spent some time in school and other times in the hospital. As she prepared to sit for her KCSE examinations, her condition deteriorated further,” a post from Ndungu Nyoro stated.

Despite her struggles, Harriet was determined to give her best and managed to sit for the KCSE examinations from her hospital bed.
Remarkably, she scored a straight A plain. Earlier this month, Harriet’s high school held a prize-giving day, but she could not attend due to her hospitalisation.
However, she was awarded KSh 100,000 for her impressive academic performance.
Unfortunately, while still undergoing treatment, Harriet’s condition worsened, and she ultimately passed away.
Nyoro shared several heartwarming pictures of her in her school uniform, where she appeared full of life.
