Kures Primary School in Mogotio Sub-county, Baringo County, recently held a thanksgiving ceremony that was marked with pomp and colour, culminating in a tree planting exercise organized by professionals.
The event on Friday, April 21, 2023, was in honour of their 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates who excelled and have so far joined various secondary schools across the country.
The Board of Management (BoM) chairman Zephania Kiborek said they hosted the ceremony to thank God for the exemplary results that the candidates posted.They posted a deviation of 30.35, garnering a mean mark of 280 compared to the previous year where they scored 251.13.
The head teacher Jane Chemjor and her deputy Daniel Morogo were upbeat and promised to perform even better in the forthcoming 2023 exams.
