The Western Region school games also promise thrilling matchups with powerhouse teams in the boys’ and girls’ categories.
In the girls’ category, Moi Girls Kamusinga headlines Pool A alongside Lusengeli Girls, Busiada Girls and Eshitari Girls.
With a strong history in school handball, Moi Girls Kamusinga will be looking to assert dominance. However, Lusengeli and Busiada could prove to be serious challengers.
Pool B is equally competitive, featuring Moi Girls Vokoli, Aboloi, Milima, and Mukumu. Every team has a chance to advance.
The boys’ category will also be fiercely contested, with Pool A featuring Mukumu Boys, Butula Boys, Kimilili Boys and Senende Boys.
Mukumu enters as one of the tournament’s strong contenders. However, Butula and Kimilili are expected to push them to the limit.
Musingu Boys, Mundika Boys, Kibabii Boys, and Lusengeli will compete for top Pool B honours.
Musingu and Mundika are considered early favorites, but the unpredictable nature of school games means surprises are always on the horizon.
With regional pride and a ticket to the nationals at stake, teams will leave nothing to chance.
