President Ruto arrives at Ngangarithi Primary accompanied by Church leaders.

President William Ruto has donated Ksh2 million to assist Hillside Academy Endarasha fire victims.

Ruto made the contribution during the launch of the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) Central-Western Archdiocese held at Ngangarithi Primary School grounds in Nyeri.

While handing over the funds to Kieni MP Njoroge Wainaina, he said that the funds will cater for essential needs for the learners whose personal items were destroyed during the inferno which claimed 21 lives.

Ruto pledged to help rebuild the school once investigations are complete, reiterating the government’s determination to ensure all children in the country have access to education.

He added that by December this year, the government will employ 20,000 teachers to ensure the prescribed teacher-to-leaner ratio.
