Daniel Orina of Riokindo Boys High in Kisii carried the flag of the school in this year’s KCSE by scoring A plain.
According to the Chief Principal, Gerald Orina it took collective effort by all teachers, parents and students to revive school glory in national exams.
“We thank God for all these great results that will catapult us to reach where we want,” he said.
The jubilant school head accompanied by his two deputies, Micah Mariita (Administration) and David Makori (Academics) said the school made a mercurial jump from recording a mean grade of 6.7 in 2023 to 10.5.

They celebrated with the first candidate scoring A plain while the last had grade C plain with 758 students having sat for the exams.
Other schools from Kisii that have posted sterling preliminaryin KCSE include Cardinal Otunga Mosocho, Nyakoiba Mixed, Magena Girls and St Peters Keberesi Mixed Secondary among others.
