In the wake of this incident, community members expressed their outrage over the rising incidents of defilement in the area.

They asked local authorities to implement educational programmes aimed at protecting young girls and raising awareness about these grave offences.

This case comes on the heels of two recent convictions in the same court, where two men were sentenced to 50 and 40 years in prison for similar crimes against minors.

One case involved a father defiling his daughter in Bosaga village, while the other Wilfred Ombasa was convicted for the defilement of his 14-year-old niece in Nyabiosi village.

The community’s demand for justice and preventive measures against such crimes is growing stronger.
