The MP for Butere constituency officially handed over a brand new college bus to Butere Technical Training Institute (TTI).
MP Tindi Mwale noted that the initiative, funded through the sub-county’s NG-CDF underscores his commitment to prioritizing education and empowering local learning institutions.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Mwale highlighted his dedication to education as a cornerstone of community development.
“Our focus is on building strong institutions that prepare our youth for a competitive future. By supporting schools and colleges, we are investing in the prosperity of Butere,” he said.
The school bus is expected to ease transportation challenges for students and staff, enabling them to participate in educational trips, industry exposure programs, and inter-institutional activities.
Leaders and residents present at the event lauded Mwale’s efforts, describing the donation as a significant step toward enhancing the standards of education in the area.
Mwale reaffirmed his commitment to channeling more resources into initiatives that improve access to quality education and skills training.
