Learners have been urged to take their education seriously, which is society’s great equaliser. Dr Raymond Omollo, the PS Interior, made these remarks during a church fundraiser at AIC Mukuyuni in Makueni hosted by Devolution PS Teresia Mbaika.
Dr Omollo added that to realize this, parents should prioritize their children’s education to help them achieve their visions.

“Investing in education equips us to create a more empowered community, ultimately transforming our nation for the better,” he said.
He added that the government is improving educational standards by hiring a significant number of teachers—a historic move for the country—to ensure every learner receives a quality education.
Addressing the issue of drug abuse, he urged parents to guide their children in avoiding such dangers.
He also asked students to stay away from drugs, which jeopardize both their health and future potential.
Notable figures joined him, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) PS Susan Mang’eni, PS Roads Eng Joseph Mbugua, and Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.
