Security personnel drawn from Malava Sub-county are holding a principal’s phone following a tip-off that there is a possible exam malpractice in her school.
The principal’s mobile phone was confiscated after the investigators, responding to a lead, stormed the school to get to the bottom of rumours of exam cheating that was also doing rounds on social media platforms.
The detectives found no tangible evidence to link the school to malpractice but highly doubted the manner in which the principal was shaken, prompting them to seize the phone.

Their investigations had led them to the principals mobile handset which upon being perused indicated an incoming call just before they landed at the institution, which they suspected to be a warning of their arrival.
Sources within the security detail that ransacked the school confided that despite them not being able to find any tangible evidence, the manner of reaction from the principal and the phone call was suspicious enough, forcing them to retain her phone for further screening.
They assured the public that they will unravel the allegations soon so as to make it public if there was any exam cheating or not.
