Police in Nyamira County are investigating the death of a primary school teacher who was found stone-cold in his bed within the school compound.
According to area Chief Alfred Nyambati, the body of the deceased was discovered by his colleagues.
“His colleagues found him dead in the room whose door was loosely shut,” he said.

The chief said that when he reported at the scene with his aides, they found the body covered in a blanket.
Leonard Kingi, 30, was a teacher at Eronge Primary School who has been living alone from the time he differed with his wife.
The police took the body to Nyansiongo Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
Nyamira County Director of Education Joshua Kega called for consolidated effort from all stakeholders in guidance and counselling in order to curb the creeping suicidal spirit in the region.
