Mary Ngolengor, the Pokot South Sub-County Director of Education, commissioned Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) classrooms and learning resource center at Kaptabuk School in West Pokot County yesterday.
She said that the project was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the World Bank and that the structure was the second state-of-the-art in the county after another one at Chepkopech Comprehensive School.

She added that the initiative aims to improve learning by addressing critical disparities.
For a long time, accessibility, Equity, inclusivity, relevance, and accountability have been great impediments to the provision of good education across the globe, and as such, the initiative is conclusively addressing the issues.
The building, which cost Ksh 2 million to construct, will greatly improve the learning outcomes of all Junior School students.
