Parents told to invest in their children’s education for a better future

Parents have been called upon to invest heavily in their children’s education if they want to reap huge benefits in the future.

Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony at Malanga (K) Patience Academy in Kakamega North Sub-county, Pastor Joseph Namunyu cautioned parents to take their children’s education seriously as it is one of the best investments any parent can give.

Namunyu, who is a renowned minister and family life director of SDA Church North West Kenya conference, while celebrating and appreciating 31 candidates who sat and excelled in the 2023KCPE, praised the leadership of private schools that have committed to bringing up children in the ways of God.

Namunyu stressed the need for the students and pupils to embrace resilience, desire, discipline and character as qualities that make them respected.

The director of the academy Beatrice Wafula confirmed that they were wallowing in a huge debt, calling on the community to support the school grow by bringing their children to the institution.
