A total of 4,595 students from 57 Government Special Needs Education (SNE) Boarding Schools are going to benefit from the 6th sponsorship project of 2023 by Lord Mahavir Swami Followers during the 3rd term of the year 2023.
The sponsorship project is amounting to a total of Ksh9, 190, 000 as per the enrollment records received by Lord Mahavir Swami Followers, and will be directly deposited to the Bank Account of 57 schools on or before September 25, 2023.
Students from the Physically challenged, mentally challenged, visually impaired and hearing impaired school are going to benefit from the project.
Some of the schools which are going to benefit from the project include Salvation Army Joy Valley Special School for the physically challenged of Bungoma County, Wamunyu Special School for the mentally challenged of Machakos County, Melwa Special School for the mentally challenged of Laikipia County and Kenya Albino Child Support of Uasin Gishu.
According to an advert, SNE schools are going to credit individual accounts of non-sponsored school students and issue the separate receipts of each and every sponsored student then forward them to Lord Mahavir Swami Followers.
Lord Mahavir Swami Followers is a religious group that is also empowering students with various life challenges through education.
