A total of 107,529 candidates are sitting for national examinations in Nakuru county this year.
Speaking to Education News in an early morning interview, County Director of Education (CDE) Victoria Mulili said that the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) paper has 31,029 boys and 29,733 girls in 1,122 exam centres.
She added that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations have 23,075 boys and 23,011 girls in 480 exam centres, while the Kenya Inter-Mediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) has 189 candidates.
The Director disclosed that the county was provided with 17 containers to serve 11 sub-counties.
