Police in Manga Sub-county in Kitutu Masaba Constituency, Nyamira, are investigating the death of Barnabas Nyakundi, the head teacher of Mokwerero Primary School, who is said to have committed suicide on Friday last week.
In a moving note allegedly authored by the deceased, it was apparent he had fallen into depression.
“I am tired. I can’t fight anymore. Death will give me rest. I couldn’t make it,” read part of the note allegedly left behind by Nyakundi.
Manga Sub-county Police Commander Benson Makumi said the body was found dangling inside the house he lived in.
