All children joining Form One in Webuye East Constituency will have their fees fully settled by the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF).
In a meeting with school principals in Webuye town, area legislator Martin Wanyonyi said the NGCDF will pay fees for the year for those joining schools within the constituency.
The MP said the initiative will help poor parents to take their children to school.
The MP further noted that the programme aims to alleviate financial woes and ensure that poverty does not prevent deserving students from pursuing their dreams.
The principals led by Simpta Wafula of Misemwa Secondary School lauded the noble programme and promised to work together with the MP to boost education in the area.
