Bungoma’s Mukuyuni Primary School under-14 netball team was crowned champions after defeating Kisawai Primary from Trans-Nzoia 15-9 in the finals of a tournament held at Kitale School.
In the under-17 category, Andersen Girls from Trans-Nzoia took the title after winning all their matches, including a close 16-13 victory over St Monica’s Bukokholo from Bungoma, and a 23-16 win over Kobala at the secondary school’s field.
In the Division 1 category, Trans-Nzoia Starlets were named champions after defeating Mawengo TTI from Siaya 16-13.

This league brought together over 30 teams of different age divisions, including under-14, under-17, and under-21 from primary and secondary schools, as well as senior categories. The Magereza team took the Super League title without competition as they had no opponents.
The league was organized by the Kenya Netball Federation (KNF) and attended by top officials, including KNF President Emmaculate Abunzi.
Several sponsors supported the event, led by Kitale Primary School head teacher David Luganda, the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) represented by Women’s Representative Patricia Melisa, who is also KNF Treasurer for the Trans-Nzoia branch, and KPSSA Secretary General Etyang Mamai, who provided trophies and other support.
