Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has officially launched an ICT hub at Kakamega County Polytechnic, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping learners with modern digital tools to enhance education and foster innovation.
The hub is the first of several others planned across all 12 constituencies in the county, an ambitious strategy to close the digital divide and ensure equal access to technological resources.
The project, supported by Huawei, the ICT Authority, Konza Technopolis and other partners, underscores a collaborative commitment to empowering young people with the skills needed for a digital economy.
Leaders present at the launch included; ICT Cabinet Secretary Margaret Ndung’u, Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa and Deputy Governor Ayub Savula, highlighting the united efforts of national and county leadership in driving digital transformation.
