MP to complete 365 modern classrooms before 2 terms elapse

Kitutu Masaba MP Clive Gisairo. He has pledged to complete 365 classrooms in his constituency before 2 terms elapse.

Kitutu Masaba Constituency will have completed 365 modern classrooms by the end of 8 years, having done 65 already in the last two years.

Addressing the public at Rigoma Primary School, area MP Clive Gisairo said he will give priority to education projects because they form the backbone of any development.

He said the NGCDF has increased education bursary from Ksh52 million last year to Ksh60 million this year to benefit both secondary and university students.

“Any student who applied for the award of bursary was given the money although it was not enough,” he said.

Asking youth not to despise technical and vocational training, he said even those who scored C+ and above in KCSE should consider enrolling for marketable courses in local institutes instead of joining university for less attractive courses.

During the meeting, the MP and his team opened three modern classrooms at the school that were sponsored by the NGCDF.
