Kitutu Chache North MP Japhet Mokaya Nyakundi has promised to increase and improve infrastructure to accommodate more learners in schools in the area.
Nyakundi was speaking on Monday at Tambachi Primary School where he inspected the ongoing construction of 8 modern classrooms with the support of NGCDF.
The MP who was on a development inspection tour in the constituency threatened to terminate any tender for shoddy work.
“I expect all contractors to do their work well because this is the taxpayers’ money that must be spent prudently,” he said.

The MP, who was flanked by his NGCDF committee members, said that his office has spent more than 70 million towards the support of education programmes, with the main portion going to renovations in both primary and secondary schools.
The legislator appealed to churches and other community social workers to engage the youth during this holiday to direct them in spiritual matters that will harness their growing curious minds.
He asked the youth who are on holiday to involve themselves in manual work like picking and weeding gardens to balance their cognitive and psychomotor development.
