Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera has inaugurated a programme dubbed Academic Creaming in his Constituency that sharpens top students to excel in KCSE.
The initiative brings together 10 per cent of the highest achievers from each school.
In his remarks, Nabwera disclosed that a total of 600 girls and boys are currently camping at Archbishop Njenga Girls High School and Kivaywa Boys’ High School respectively.
“I take this chance to encourage boys to strive for academic excellence as last year only a handful achieved high quality grades,” he said.

The first term lawmaker added that by investing in the programme, learners will attain the grades necessary to secure places in competitive Science courses.
“The enthusiasm at the camps is evidence enough that our students are yearning to break the ceiling, and I am optimistic that Lugari Constituency will achieve even better results this year. The pinnacle of the programme will be realized at the 2nd creaming in August,” he observed.
