Butere MP Tindi Mwale has embarked on an elaborate development agenda aimed at improving education standards in the constituency.
Mwale said he had initiated a series of infrastructural development programmes which had subsequently boosted academic performance in schools and tertiary institutions in the constituency.
He cited construction of more than 15 storey buildings in schools across Butere aimed at ensuring conducive learning environments, and has so far bought seven buses for schools and colleges with the ultimate goal of issuing at least two each financial year.
“Apart from storey buildings, we are also renovating and constructing new classrooms and modern ablution blocks in our various learning institutions to ensure a conducive and clean learning environment for our children and teachers,” the MP said.
