Moi University in collaboration with Park University (USA) and Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) held the inaugural `Career Fair` at Moi University Main Campus on Monday.
The event attracted over a 1,500 high school candidates across three counties.
Placement Coordination and Career Development Director Dr. John Oluoch represented KUCCPS at the event where he gave a detailed analysis of the current trends and opportunities available to students.
He also advised the students on the importance of taking courses that are in demand and ensure that they employ passion and interest when deciding the courses that they intend to do.
Ms. Taylor Billings and Dr. Boakye Owusu from Park University gave details about the University’s curriculum and opportunities for International Students.
They also went through the various programmes available and how it would be beneficial for students seeking to study abroad.
In attendance were Moi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Sanga Kosgey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Research, Extension, and Student Affairs) Prof. Isaac N. Kimengi, Deans, Directors, Student Governing Council, staff and students.
