Moi High School Mbiruri in Embu shines in KCSE

Moi High School Mbiruri in Embu County registered an unprecedented feat in the 2024 KCSE exams, with 23 students achieving an A plain, the highest number in its history.

The school’s Chief Principal, Patrick Nderitu, who could hardly contain his joy said, “This is a milestone we have never achieved before.”

He attributed the success to the relentless hard work and cooperation among students, teachers, and parents.

Out of the 380 candidates who sat for the exams 23 scored A plain, while 44 achieved A-. Additionally, 50 students earned B+, 78 received B, 64 attained B-, and 52 secured C+ with students securing direct entry to universities.

The school’s mean score also saw a notable improvement, rising to 8.4526 from 8.094 the previous year.
