The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced the recruitment of a Chairperson and three members to form an audit committee as part of its efforts to strengthen financial oversight and governance.

The new committee will be tasked with overseeing the Ministry’s internal audits, and ensuring transparency and accountability in its financial operations.

According to a statement from MoE, the audit committee will play a key role in reviewing financial reports, assessing risk management processes and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

The recruitment of these officials is seen as a step forward towards enhancing efficiency, curbing potential mismanagement, improving financial discipline and ensuring proper utilization of resources.
