Matungulu MP pledges to ensure all children get an education

Matungulu MP Stephen Mule addressing parents, teachers and students yesterday at St.Joseph Kikuyuni mixed Secondary school.The MP asked students to work hard in their studies in order to achieve their dreams.

Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has said he is committed to ensuring all children in his constituency acquire education in order to be future leaders.

Speaking yesterday at St Joseph Kikuyuni mixed secondary school in his constituency, Mule who also doubles as a doctor, urged the students to share their problems with teachers in order to be assisted instead of keeping quiet since the tutors are also in a position to provide counseling services.

“My aim is to support all students and motivate needy students to perform better and boost education standard in this region,” Mule said.

He further urged students in the region to work hard in their education so as to post good results.

The lawmaker asked parents to do their part in taking their children to school saying that every child has a right to education and no learner should be disadvantaged regardless of their social background.

“It is important for parents to remember they have a huge role to play in supporting the education standards of their children,” said the legislator.
