Grief has engulfed Maseno University after a third-year student reportedly committed suicide over a love triangle.
Antony Mutinda, a student of Informatics and Computing took his own life a Baptist Church within the institution’s vicinity.
Maseno University Director of Communication Dr. McOnyango said that the institution was pursuing several angles into the incident and that they will reveal more information to the public when done.
The Director said that they suspected foul play hence the need to be cautious.
He noted that they were yet to inform Mutinda’s parents of what had transpired.
Kisumu County Police boss Alphonse Kimathi said that he was not aware of the matter but promised to comment once furnished with a full report.
