Maasai Mara University, in collaboration with Africa Community of Planetary Partners for Health and Environment, has organized a two-day research workshop on One Health and Climate Coalition.
Vice Chancellor Professor Peninah Aloo Obudho welcomed the partners and said that things some years ago were so natural are now all gone due to climate change.
“Waters flowing, trees blooming, wild fruits were good and I ate them and due to forest destruction all is gone,” she lamented.
Obudho stressed that something should be done to stop the destruction of the environment, adding that the university is working with 30 to 40 schools to plant trees and enhance forest cover.
