Lugari Member of Parliament (MP) Nabii Nabwera has officially inaugurated a new multi-storey classroom block at Tekoa Comprehensive School.
Speaking while addressing various stakeholders at the school, the MP noted that the project is part of the ‘Ondoa Matope’ initiative aimed at replacing mud-walled and substandard classrooms with modern structures.
“The new building features terrazzo floors and is designed to comfortably accommodate over sixty students per class,” he revealed.
Nabwera further observed that over Ksh60 million has been invested in bursaries and scholarships.

The first-term MP recognized the importance of providing a conducive learning environment.
“This initiative reinforces my ongoing message to parents; prioritize your children’s education as it is the greatest equalizer in life,” he said.
