KUPPET, KESSHA pay tribute to fallen KEPSHA Chair Nzioka

The education sector is in mourning following the tragic death of Johnstone Nzioka, the National Chairman of the Kenya Primary Schools Head Teachers Association (KEPSHA).

Nzioka passed away in a road accident at Lukenya along the Nairobi-Mombasa Road, where he was travelling with his driver on Sunday evening when his car rammed into a trailer.

Machakos County the Kenya National Union of Post-Primary Teachers (KUPPET) Executive Secretary Musembi Katuku expressed his deep sorrow and sent heartfelt condolences to Nzioka’s family.

“It is devastating to receive such news. On behalf of KUPPET, I extend my sympathies to his loved ones and aks drivers to exercise caution on the roads to prevent such tragedies,” he said.

Similarly, Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) Machakos County Chairman Stephen Kavuvu mourned the loss with shock and disbelief.

“My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire KEPSHA fraternity. May our good Lord grant them peace, comfort, and fortitude to overcome this difficult period. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of great loss,” he said.

Nzioka was a key figure in Kenya’s education leadership, and his passing is a significant loss to the teaching fraternity.

Before his demise, he served as the head of Donholm Primary School.
