The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the portal for the Kenya Medical Training Collage (KMTC) September 2024 intake.
In an announcement made by KUCCPS through their official website seen by Education News, the application targets qualified KCSE holders from 2013 to 2023 who wish to enrol in KMTC programmes, as well as those who applied previously but were not successful.
Qualified and interested applicants are asked to do the applications through students.kuccps.net or through the KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke.
After accessing the portal, they are required to click login tab and input their KCSE index number, KCSE year and password in the provided slots with either their birth certificate or KCPE index number being their passwords.

“Once logged in, click KMTC Programmes to view available courses and their minimum requirements. Applicants will only be able to apply for courses where they meet minimum requirements. Download the PDF document containing the details of the available programmes for ease of reference,” the announcement reads in part.
KUCCPS announced that the amount required for completion of registration is KSh1, 500 with the application deadline being June 21, 2024.
KMTC which is the oldest and largest mid-level Medical Training and Research Institution has over the years produced graduates accounting for 85 per cent of Kenya’s health work force.
Among the courses offered in KMTC include Certificates in Community Health Assistant, Health Records, Medical Emergency Technicians and Information Technology, Medical Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Orthopedic Trauma Medicine as well as Certificate in Public Health.
Also, it offers Diploma in Community Health, Emergency Medical Technology, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Health Records and Information Technology, Diploma Medical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Pharmacy, and diploma in Physiotherapy.
