The Knut West Pokot Branch has expressed gratitude for the government’s commitment to reopening abandoned schools in border areas, addressing persistent insecurity.
During the 63rd KNUT ADC,the Knut BEC Pokot Central Martin Piro Komolinyang exuded joy post the conclusion of the 63rd Knut Annual Conference (ADC) at Kasarani on the second day.
Komolinyang encourages parents of affected schools to promptly send their children back once schools resume in January.
He outlined the schools in Pokot Central set to reopen, including Chesogon Primary, Cheptulel Primary, Cheptulel Secondary, Sapulmoi Primary, and Kisaa ECDE.
In North Pokot, Lonyangalem Primary, Kour Primary, Songok, and Koron are slated for reopening.
Expressing appreciation, Komolinyang acknowledged the government’s policy affirming every child’s right to education.
