KNUT to host training workshop for leaders tomorrow

KNUT SG Collins Henry Oyuu. The union has organized a training of trainers tomorrow from 10am.

The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) will hold a Training of Trainers Workshop (TOT) from Wednesday 17th to 20th April, 2024.

This was announced by KNUT Secretary General Collins Oyuu who indicated that the meeting will be held in a Nairobi hotel from 10 am.

The Danish Union of Teachers (DLF) Executive Director for International Affairs Tore Arsmusen is already in the country to participate in the workshop.

The director had held a meeting with the National Steering Committee at KNUT House on Mfangano Street, Nairobi, having sponsored the making of the KNUT Training Handbook and Manual.

The aim is ensuring that all elected leaders are trained on modern leadership skills so as to be able to handle emerging challenges in the world of work and workers, especially members who are teachers.
