Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) is mourning the passing on of former Bomachoge Chache MP Simeon Mbaka Ogari.
Speaking in Kisii town, branch Executive Secretary mourned the late MP as an astute scholar and politician who left a legacy in both fields.
While sending her condolences, Senator Essy Okenyuri termed the late Ogari a remarkable leader who served his constituents with commitment and dedication.
“He touched many hearts throughout his life as he led with humility,” read part of the message.
Okenyuri said that it was an honour to meet and knew him in person as a man who walked the talk.
Also in attendance was Bomachoge Borabu MP, Eng. Obadiah Barongo.
The late MP was born in 1956 in Nyansara village, Bomachoge Chache constituency, where he attended early education before proceeding to Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High School where he completed his “A” level course in Mathematics and Physics.

He proceeded to University of Nairobi from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Survey Engineering.
Ogari later joined politics and served as MP for Bomachoge from 2013 to 2017 when he lost to the current MP Alpa Miruka.
The late MP died in a Nairobi hospital after a long battle with illness.
