KNEC releases 2024 KPSEA examination results

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially released the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) results.

In a statement on Tuesday, January 7, KNEC announced that the results have been uploaded and are now available on the CBA portal, accessible at cba.knec.ac.ke.

The examination body has urged schools that presented candidates for the assessment to log in to the CBA portal to check the results of their learners.

KPSEA is a national examination used to evaluate Grade 6 learners under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

The first cohort of CBC learners is set to transition to Grade 9.

“The 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports are ready and have been uploaded on the CBA portal cba.knec.ac.ke. Schools that presented candidates for the assessment are advised to log in the portal and access the learner-specific reports. Congratulations to all 2024 KPSEA candidates,” reads the statement.

Below are steps to check the results.

  1. Go to cba.knec.ac.ke.
  2. Sign in to the portal using valid CBA login credentials you registered with.
  3. Then click the login button to enter the CBA portal home page.
  4. Go to the option Grade 6 and click on Assessment Reports.
  5. On the nominal roll, copy the Assessment Number of the student Report.
  6. Return to the option KPSEA slip and paste the student Assessment Number then click View.

A total of 1,313,913 candidates participated in the assessment last years across 35,573 examination centres.

Some of the subjects that were covered include English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, Integrated Science, Creative Arts and Social Studies.
